Dear Church Family:
Over the past 6 months, the Church Council has been exploring ways to secure our church facility and worship time. We have an Ad-Hoc committee addressing security issues and members of our council will be attending a special presentation by the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office on securing church facilities.
The Council has approved a security recommendation that will take effect this Sunday, September 30, 2018. At approximately 10:55 AM, the church entrance doors will be locked, and an usher will be assigned downstairs to open the door for late arrivals. We have installed a video door bell system that will allow the usher to see who is seeking to gain entrance into the building.
We believe that this a prudent and necessary precaution for the times that we are living in. There will be more security changes coming in the future.
The Ad-Hoc committee is being led by Don Martindale and Jimmy King. Please contact them for any questions or concerns.
In Christ,
Pastor Rob
